1 Pony Express race:
With a 3 man team, each rider goes around the ring once holding the baton.
#2 Rescue Race:
You have a partner at the other end of the ring. You will ride down to your partner, get off the horse, help your partner on and LEAD the horse back. Horses arriving with out leader will be disqualified.
#3 Keyhole race
You race down the length of the ring, turn around in a designated place and ride back. This is a timed event,
#4 Egg and Spoon race:
Be the first one back to the finish line with your egg still in your spoon
#5 $ Bareback:
You will use your own $ to ride in a bareback command class. Winner takes all $
#6 Barrel Racing:
This is a timed event.
#7 Pairs with Ribbons:
This is a command class with pairs of riders holding ribbons.
#8 Musical Stalls:
End up in one of our PVC stalls when the music stops or be eliminated.
#9Trail Class:
Take your horse through obstacles in a timed course.
#10 Down and out:
Jump the jump, higher each time, till your horse knocks it down, then you are out.
#11 Gamblers choice:
You have 1.5 minutes to get points by jumping the jumps of your choice.
General Information
#1 Leave your show clothes at home this one is for fun!
#2 Entrees are $5.00 per class, or $30.00 for the day, if called in, mailed or emailed in before 8pm the Thursday prior. Post entries $8.00 / class. $40.00 for the day.
#3 Classes run in numerical order.
#4 Negative Coggins (within 1 year) required.
#5 Classes may be split, combined, canceled, or reordered if conditions warrant.
#6 There is a $10.00 charge to use Scottie’s horses.
#7 All riders must wear helmets while mounted, along with safe suitable footwear.
#8 Book Family Farm, Scottie Book and committee will not be responsible for any injury to horse, rider, equipment, or spectators, or any property damage or theft before, during, or after the show.
